Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president, K. Chandrashekar Rao, is set to recommence his series of public meetings following the Dasara break, with the aim of garnering support for his party. The campaign will resume on October 26, covering key constituencies such as Atchampet, Wanaparthy, and Munugode.
Some minor alterations have been made to the previously announced schedule by the BRS office. The new itinerary includes public addresses by Rao in Achampet, Wanaparthy, and Munugode on October 26, followed by meetings at Paleru, Mahabubabad, and Wardhannapet on October 27.
Rao initiated his election campaign from Husnabad on October 15 and took a break during the Dasara holiday. On the same day, he unveiled the party manifesto, introducing new schemes and enhancing financial benefits for existing programs.
The second phase of his campaign, spanning 13 days, will involve Rao addressing 36 public meetings daily, covering three constituencies. On November 9, the Chief Minister plans to file his nomination papers for both Gajwel and Kamareddy, a strategic choice to galvanize the party cadre in the combined Nizamabad district.
Before submitting his nominations, Rao will perform a pooja at the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Konaipalli, Siddipet district. On the same day, he is scheduled to address a public meeting in Kamareddy. Details of the third phase of his campaign, encompassing the remaining constituencies, will be released at a later date.
