Rajolu constituency: Pawan Kalyan, leader of the Janasena Party, vehemently criticized the incumbent MLA, Rapaka Varaprasad. Speaking at the Varahi Vijayabheri Sabha, Kalyan alleged Rapaka’s involvement in a massive corruption scandal related to land allocations designated for housing the underprivileged. Kalyan accused Rapaka of holding a substantial stake in this illicit affair.
Furthermore, Kalyan lambasted Rapaka for his failure to provide homes for the needy while constructing a lavish edifice for himself on five acres in Katthimandalam of Malikipuram Mandal. He accused Rapaka of betraying the electorate’s trust.
Additionally, Kalyan accused Rapaka of coercing local traders into surrendering sand and iron, utilizing government funds to erect a personal residence. Notably, despite the Antarvedi chariot incident, Rapaka remained silent.
Recalling a 2019 event, Kalyan criticized Rapaka for abandoning his plea for a fire station in Sakhinetipalli upon aligning with YSR Congress leader Jagan Mohan Reddy. He also highlighted a college in Malikipuram established on donated land, asserting that YSR Congress figures aimed to usurp this valuable property by displacing lecturers.
Kalyan issued a warning, asserting that in 18 days, his party would prevail, holding corrupt individuals accountable and subjecting them to penalties.
