Hyderabad: The BRS party is facing unexpected departures. K. Keshava Rao, the Secretary General of BRS and Rajya Sabha member, bid farewell to the party, leaving many surprised. Recently, he met with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to discuss joining the Congress party, indicating a potential shift. KK’s daughter, GHMC Mayor Vijayalakshmi, is also anticipated to follow suit. After a decade, KK is returning to his roots in Congress.
KK’s meeting with BRS leader KCR at his farmhouse in Erravelli has stirred speculation about his party change, prompting questions from KCR himself. “What will people think if you switch parties after a decade in power?” KCR questioned. KK, remaining silent, expressed his commitment to Congress, where his political journey began and where he intends to conclude it. Meanwhile, there are signs suggesting that BRS MLA and former minister Kadiyam Srihari may also consider leaving the party.
