In 2019, YS Vivekananda Reddy was tragically murdered, sparking numerous theories and allegations surrounding the incident. Despite many months passing with the case in court, YS Jagan maintained silence, refraining from commenting or addressing the accusations. However, during a Kadapa campaign meeting, YS Jagan broke his silence and made striking remarks regarding YS Viveka’s Murder.
Addressing the gathering, YS Jagan asserted, “Everyone in Kadapa district and beyond knows who killed Babai. It is evident who is extending support to the perpetrator. Instead of rightfully facing justice, the murderer is being shielded by Chandrababu, his associates, and the biased yellow media. We are all aware of the orchestrated attempts to tarnish my image.”
The statement marks the first time the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh has openly spoken about YS Viveka’s Murder, adding to the sensationalism surrounding the case. YS Jagan continued by questioning the alarming scenario, stating, “The perpetrator roams freely while Chandrababu orchestrates political machinations against me, all the while offering unwavering support to the culprit. If this isn’t emblematic of the modern-day Kaliyugam, then what is?”
