The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is anticipated to unveil the results of the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams for 2024 in the upcoming week. According to media reports, CBSE is likely to disclose the results for both classes on May 12, 2024. Nonetheless, there’s no official confirmation regarding the exact date and time of the long-awaited board results.

Earlier, CBSE Secretary Himanshu Gupta hinted at a May announcement for both Class 10 and 12 results, without specifying a precise date or time. This followed the circulation of a fake notice on social media platforms, wrongly claiming that the CBSE Class 10 and 12 results would be declared on May 1, 2024.

Once the results are declared, CBSE will activate the result link on its official website—cbseresults.nic.in, enabling students to check their scores.

The CBSE board exams were conducted from February 15 to April 2, 2024, with Class 10 exams held from February 15 to March 13 and Class 12 exams from February 15 to April 2. The exams took place in a single shift, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm daily. Approximately 39 lakh candidates registered for the CBSE Board exams in 2024, covering both Class 10 and 12, with around 5.80 lakh students appearing in the exams in Delhi alone.

In 2023, the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board results were declared on May 12, with an overall pass percentage of 93.12% for Class 10 and 87.33% for Class 12.
