The Spain Men’s Hockey Team, currently ranked 8th globally, has landed at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, gearing up for the upcoming FIH Hockey Pro League 2023/24 matches in India. The highly anticipated tournament will unfold at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium in Bhubaneswar from February 10th to 16th before shifting to the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela, where matches will continue from February 19th to 25th.
Featuring five formidable national teams – Ireland, The Netherlands, India, Spain, and Australia – the India leg of the FIH Hockey Pro League 2023/24 (Men) will witness these teams facing off twice, once in Bhubaneswar and once in Rourkela.
Spain’s opening match in the FIH Hockey Pro League 2023/24 (Men) is scheduled for February 10th against hosts India, followed by a clash with Australia on February 11th. The team will then confront the Netherlands, the reigning world champions, on February 13th, and face Ireland on February 15th, marking their final fixture in the Bhubaneswar leg before proceeding to Rourkela.
