Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are reportedly set to gift their one-year-old daughter, Raha Kapoor, with a lavish new home in Mumbai’s Bandra area. The couple, along with Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor, were recently spotted inspecting the under-construction bungalow, which is said to be worth a whopping ₹250 crore. According to a report by Bollywood Life, Ranbir intends to name the bungalow after his daughter, making her the youngest and wealthiest star kid in Bollywood.
The luxurious abode, expected to surpass the value of celebrity residences like Shah Rukh Khan Mannat and Amitabh Bachchan Jalsa, symbolizes the couple’s shared dream and dedication. Both Ranbir and Alia have contributed significantly to the investment, with the total cost projected to exceed ₹250 crore upon completion. Additionally, the couple already owns four flats in Bandra, collectively valued at over ₹60 crore.
The decision to name the bungalow after Raha reflects Ranbir’s profound love for his daughter and positions her as an heir to the Kapoor legacy. Notably, Neetu Kapoor, Raha’s grandmother, will serve as the co-owner of the property, inheriting her late husband Rishi Kapoor’s estate. With Neetu’s recent purchase of a lavish ₹15 crore house in Bandra, the family’s financial stability is evident.
Once the construction is complete, speculation suggests that the entire Kapoor family, including Neetu, will reside together under one roof. Currently, Alia and Ranbir reside with Raha at Vastu, their existing residence. While such gifts are tax-exempt upon receipt, future income generated from the property may be subject to taxation, as per Indian regulations.
