The mega-hit movie RRR, which took the Indian box office by storm two years ago, continues to impress audiences worldwide. After a record-breaking run in India and a successful digital release, the movie has recently created a sensation in Japan, grossing over ₹134 crore.
However, a question lingers in many minds: Why hasn’t RRR been released in China? This is especially puzzling considering the success of the Baahubali series and other Bollywood films, including the upcoming release of “12th Fail,” in the Chinese market.
With the filmmakers currently focused on their next project with Mahesh Babu, the release of RRR in China remains on hold. While the reasons behind this decision are unclear, there’s no denying RRR’s potential to replicate its Japanese success in China. Only time will tell if the filmmakers will reconsider a Chinese release or if RRR will follow a similar path to Baahubali in that market.
