Big news for Rajinikanth fans! The superstar recently finished filming his parts for the movie “Vettaiyan,” directed by TJ Gnanavel. He’s not slowing down though, as he’s already set to star in another exciting project – a mass entertainment film titled “Coolie.” This upcoming movie is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the same director behind the electrifying announcement video that sent the internet into a frenzy.
According to the latest buzz, filming for “Coolie” is expected to begin on June 6th, 2024. This means Rajinikanth will have a well-deserved three-week break before diving back into work.
In a recent interview, director Lokesh Kanagaraj hinted at the inclusion of strong female characters in the movie. Reports suggest that actress Shruti Haasan might play a pivotal role, possibly even Rajinikanth’s daughter in the film. However, official confirmation on this casting detail is still awaited.
