Fahadh Faasil, the skilled actor known for his villainous role in the hit movie “Pushpa: The Rise,” recently talked about the film’s influence and his career focus. While Fahadh’s performance was widely praised, his recent comments suggesting the movie didn’t significantly change his career have sparked some surprise. In a recent interview, he clarified his statement, explaining, “I wasn’t trying to downplay the success of Pushpa. I told director Sukumar that I did the film because I respected him.”
Fahadh Faasil went on to emphasize his dedication to Malayalam cinema, stating, “My priority will always be Malayalam films.” However, he acknowledged the film’s reach beyond Kerala, saying, “I was happy to see the positive response from audiences in Telugu states.”
Fahadh admitted that people might have misunderstood his previous comments, but he still stands by what he said and has discussed it openly with director Sukumar. He ended by saying he believes that the sequel, “Pushpa: The Rule,” will create even more anticipation.
