The Tamil horror-comedy film Aranmanai 4, dubbed in Telugu as Baak, is a major box office success. While the Telugu version hasn’t been released yet, the Tamil original is raking in impressive collections.
On its sixth day, the film earned an estimated ₹2.60 Crore gross in Telugu states, translating to a share of ₹1.32 Crore. With a break-even target of ₹2.5 Crore, the movie is on track for profitability but still needs to perform well to be considered a clear hit.
Meanwhile, in Tamil Nadu, Aranmanai 4 continues to dominate. On the sixth day, it collected a strong ₹2.90 Crore gross, pushing its worldwide total collection past the ₹38 Crore mark in just six days. This translates to an approximate share of ₹18.65 Crore. Having surpassed its business target of ₹18 Crore within a week, anything further is considered a bonus.
Fans in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana eagerly await the release of the Telugu version, Baak. It will be interesting to see how the film performs in this market and contribute to its overall success.
