2024 is proving to be a fantastic year for Malayalam cinema! Following the success of films like “Manjummel Boys,” “Premalu,” and “Aadujeevitham,” Fahadh Faasil’s latest movie, “Aavesham,” has also achieved remarkable success.
Aavesham recently crossed the coveted milestone of Rs 150 crore at the box office on its 27th day in theaters. This impressive feat places the film at the number four spot on the list of all-time highest-grossing Malayalam movies. The top three spots are currently held by “Manjummel Boys” (Rs 242 crore), “2018” (Rs 175.5 crore), and “Aadujeevitham” (Rs 157 crore).
Interestingly, despite its ongoing theatrical run, Aavesham is set to begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video on May 9th. Directed by Jithu Madhavan and produced by Fahadh’s wife, Nazriya Nazim, alongside Anwar Rasheed, the film is sure to continue entertaining audiences even after leaving theaters.
