Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi have embarked on their journey into the Hindu epic, Ramayana, under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari. Recently, leaked images from the film’s set depicting Ranbir and Sai as Lord Ram and Sita caused a stir online, igniting a mix of reactions from netizens.
Amidst the buzz surrounding the leaked images and ongoing shooting, a throwback moment resurfaces when Kangana Ranaut openly criticized Nitesh Tiwari’s casting choice of Ranbir Kapoor for the role of Lord Ram. In a social media post referring to the project as Ramayana Kangana didn’t mince her words, labeling Ranbir Kapoor as a “skinny white rat” and questioning his credibility as an actor. She further accused him of resorting to underhanded PR tactics and labeled him a womanizer and addict.
Expressing her disbelief at actor Yash being approached for the role of Ravana, Kangana asserted her stance that no “pale looking druggie soy boy” should portray Lord Rama, ending her note with a resounding “Jai Shri Ram.”
Meanwhile, despite Nitesh Tiwari’s reported strict rules against phone usage on set, the leaked images of Ranbir and Sai Pallavi’s appearances as Lord Ram and Sita surfaced online. Earlier, similar leaks had revealed the looks of Arun Govil as Raja Dashrath and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi.
As the Ramayana project unfolds amidst controversy and leaked images, fans eagerly anticipate further developments while pondering the implications of Kangana Ranaut’s outspoken critique.
