Netflix, the streaming giant, announced today, May 3 as the highly anticipated release date for “Shaitaan.” The official announcement came alongside a poster featuring the film’s lead trio: Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyothika. The caption accompanying the post reads, “Ghar ke darwaze band rakhna, kahi Shaitaan na aa jaye,” followed by fire and silence emojis.
The announcement sparked a wave of excitement among fans, evident from the enthusiastic comments flooding the section. Fans expressed their eagerness, with one writing, “Eagerly awaiting for it,” while another exclaimed, “Finally!” Some even shared their midnight search efforts, with one fan admitting, “Kal raat 12 baje se search kar raha hu.” Another fan boldly declared, “Shaitaan is the best movie of 2024 currently.”
“Shaitaan,” a supernatural thriller, was helmed by Vikas Bahl and written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik. Produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak, the film was backed by Jio Studios, Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios.
