Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming campaign schedule in Andhra Pradesh has been finalized, marking the second phase of his electioneering in the state. Modi, along with TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, previously addressed a public meeting at Boppudi in Chilakaluripet on March 1.
According to BJP official spokesperson Lanka Dinakar, Modi is set to address three public meetings and participate in a roadshow alongside Naidu and Pawan Kalyan on May 6 and 8. On May 6, Modi will land at Rajahmundry airport at 3 pm, kickstarting his campaign with a public meeting at Vemagiri in Rajahmundry Rural Assembly segment. This visit is particularly significant as State BJP chief D Purandeswari is contesting from the Rajahmundry Lok Sabha constituency. Modi will extend his support to the BJP Lok Sabha candidate and the MLA nominees of the tripartite alliance before heading to Visakhapatnam. There, he will address an election meeting at Kasimkota in the Anakapalle Lok Sabha constituency in support of the party’s MP candidate CM Ramesh and the MLA candidates of NDA.
Moving to May 8, Modi’s schedule includes a visit to Tirupati airport at 2 am, where he will address an election meeting at Kalikiri in the Pileru Assembly constituency. This event aims to bolster support for BJP Rajampet MP candidate N Kiran Kumar Reddy and other MLA nominees of the tripartite alliance. Later in the day, the Prime Minister will land at Gannavaram airport at 4 pm and lead a roadshow from the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium to Benz Circle in Vijayawada at 5 pm.
