The filing of a petition in the CBI court by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has once again made him an item of news. This time, he is seeking permission to travel abroad beginning from May 17, as stipulated in the petition.
In this particular filed petition, he has expressed his desire to travel to London, Switzerland, and France within the period of May 17 and June 1. His forthcoming international travel plans have been brought under scrutiny with this application.
To that end, the court has directed that Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) file its counter to CM Jagan’s petition. Hence, further inquiry into the matter is postponed until tomorrow.
This shows that there are ongoing legal issues for the First Minister and how closely his actions are being monitored. What happens next in terms of CM Jagan’s plea for permission to travel abroad or what impact it will have on these cases remains a mystery.
