The Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) has granted Dr. YS Sunitha, a distinguished international fellowship. Dr. Sunitha is the daughter of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy. IDSA President Steven K. Smith made the announcement and acknowledged the tremendous value of Dr. Sunitha’s commitment, knowledge, leadership, and caring patient care.
In response, Dr. Sunitha conveyed her sincere gratitude for the fellowship and emphasized how important it was to her work to fight infectious diseases, which have a significant negative impact on humankind. She also reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to giving affected patients comprehensive care.
