Union Home Minister Amit Shah addresses a rally in Andhra Pradesh, outlining promises for the state's development with coalition victory.

During a recent public gathering in Dharmavaram, Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister and a prominent leader of the BJP, addressed the audience on behalf of the coalition formed by BJP, TDP, and Jana Sena in Andhra Pradesh. Shah articulated that the primary objective of this coalition is to bring an end to the prevalent corruption and disorder in the state’s administration. His visit to the state was motivated by a desire to support the ongoing battle against corruption.

In his address, Shah extended greetings to Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the TDP, and other dignitaries present. He commenced his speech by paying homage to the sacred sites of Hindupur and Satya Sai Baba, acknowledging their significance.

Shah pointed out the concurrent Lok Sabha elections transpiring across the nation alongside the legislative assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. He underscored the coalition’s unwavering commitment to combat corruption and criminal elements, emphasizing that his presence in Dharmavaram was aimed at fortifying this endeavor. Shah expressed optimism regarding the coalition’s electoral prospects, citing significant victories for the BJP in the first two phases of the seven-phased Lok Sabha elections. He set a lofty goal of securing 400 seats in the upcoming phase.

The core purpose of the alliance, as outlined by Amit Shah, includes putting an end to criminal activities and corruption, reinstating Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh, safeguarding the sanctity of Lord Venkateswara, and preserving the Telugu language. He critiqued the Jagan Reddy government for neglecting the Telugu language and assured that the BJP would prioritize its protection while in power.

Shah concluded his address by highlighting the significance of the Polavaram project as vital infrastructure for Andhra Pradesh’s development. He credited the BJP for elevating the project to national importance and pledged swift completion if the BJP-led government prevails at both the state and central levels. Shah accused the Jagan administration of impeding the project’s progress due to corruption, emphasizing the urgency of addressing this issue.
