Andhra Pradesh Elections 2024: The 2024 Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections have emerged as a critical battleground, drawing intense scrutiny as the ruling YSRCP, led by Chief Minister YS Jagan, clashes with the opposition TDP, helmed by former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, along with the NDA alliance. Surveys conducted by major media outlets have painted a picture of a closely contested race, with outcomes varying widely.
The India Today Group and C Voter have projected a sweeping victory for the TDP-NDA alliance, envisioning them securing all 17 Lok Sabha constituencies, which would likely reflect in the Andhra Pradesh Elections 2024 Assembly elections, relegating the YSRCP to just 8 MP seats. In stark contrast, the Times Now – ETG survey has forecasted a strong performance by the YSRCP, predicting them to clinch 19 to 20 Lok Sabha seats, with TDP and Janasena expected to secure only 3 to 4 seats collectively, and BJP claiming 1 seat.
Adding to the complexity, the ABP – CVoter survey leans towards NDA’s success, projecting TDP and its allies to secure 20 Lok Sabha seats out of 25, with 47 percent of the votes. With such divergent predictions, both voters in Andhra Pradesh and political analysts are left perplexed, eagerly awaiting the election day on May 13 and the subsequent announcement of results on June 4 to unveil which forecast will prove accurate.
