Siva Kumar is the father of Tamil actors and siblings Suriya and Karthi. He is a noted face in South Indian movies and also he played the leading man in the Tamil movies during the 1970s and 1980s. Now this yesteryear actor has dragged himself into a soup by commenting on TTD. The Tirumala Tirupathi Devsthanam has lodged a complaint against the actor for making derogatory remarks against it on social media.

In a post, Siva Kumar alleged that anti-social activities are taking place on Tirumala. Further, the actor went on to state that the temple has indifferent rules for every individual basing on their economic and social status. He also pointed out that the less privileged devotees are shabbily treated on the temple city by shoving and hurrying them away. Apart from that, Siva Kumar also slammed the manner in which the lodging and other luxuries are extended to the influential people on Tirumala.

Citing all these reasons, Suriya’s father advised the devotees not to visit Tirumala. Collating the actor’s comments, a person named Tamil Mayyan has complained to TTD through an e-mail. The Devasthanam in turn has lodged a complaint with the police against Siva Kumar in Tirupathi 2-town police station. Similarly, cases are also filed on seven others including a Facebook page in the name of ‘Telugu Atheists’.
