The recent arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal marks a significant political event ahead of the upcoming general elections. The Enforcement Directorate is actively pursuing the Delhi Liquor Policy Case, with Kejriwal accused as the main conspirator. However, the investigation faces a setback.
Following Kejriwal’s arrest, the ED confiscated his personal phones to retrieve WhatsApp chats and call data related to the Delhi liquor scam. But accessing the data was halted when Kejriwal claimed to have forgotten his iPhone password. Despite informal attempts to seek assistance from Apple, the company declined, stating only the phone’s owner could provide access. With Kejriwal unable to recall his password and Apple refusing to unlock the device, ED officials encounter difficulties in accessing the phone data.
