Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicidal death has brought back the debate of nepotism in Bollywood once again. The untimely demise of the actor has left many shocked and in dismay. It has gradually turned into an emotional outrage against a few of the bigwigs in the film industry. The followers are pointing fingers at them over the death of Sushant citing their past remarks and actions against the actor.
Bollywood top producer Karan Johar and actress Alia Bhatt are facing severe flak from this whole episode. The enraged fans are savaging these celebrities through heavy trolling accusing them of promoting nepotism. The netizens have been un-following them on Instagram and Twitter accounts. As many as over 5 lakh followers have un-followed the Bhatt girl on IG.
So, Alia has become the most un-followed star in just three days. Even Karan Johar and Sonam Kapoor have also lost many of their followers. Interestingly, the maker of ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ has himself un-followed many of the celebrities. Now he just follows eight accounts that include the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar who became stars without any background.
Moreover, criminal cases are also filed against eight people including Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. A Bihar Lawyer named Sudhir Kumar Ojha has filed these cases under IPC sections 306, 109, 504, and 506 in Muzaffarpur court in connection with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Reminding that she launched Sushant, producer Ekta Kapoor expressed that she is beyond upset and can’t believe that acase is filed against her with convoluted theories.
