In the initial 20 minutes, U.P. Yoddhas dominated the game, led by Gagana’s stunning super raid and Gulveer Singh’s two-point raid. They inflicted an All-out in the 8th minute, taking a 12-7 lead. Despite Puneri Paltan having the best defense in PKL 10, U.P. Yoddhas maintained control with a significant 28-15 lead at halftime.
Puneri Paltan regrouped in the second half, introducing Aslam Inamdar and Sanket Sawant from the bench. Pankaj Mohite explosive performance, including a super 10, led to a crucial All-out, narrowing the deficit from 13 to 6 points. Puneri Paltan continued their momentum, securing another All-out in the 34th minute, taking a 35-34 lead the first time they led in the game.
U.P. Yoddhas briefly regained the lead, but Puneri Paltan responded with Aslam leveling the scores and Shadloui’s tackle sealing the win. With their 17th win of the season, Puneri Paltan claimed the top spot heading into the playoffs.
