In a Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 match at the Tau Devi Lal Indoor Stadium in Panchkula on Friday, Telugu Titans faced a 44-51 defeat against Jaipur Pink Panthers despite an outstanding performance by Pawan Sehrawat. Sehrawat contributed an incredible 22 points, with 17 from raids and five from tackles. However, the disjointed teamwork of the Titans led to their downfall.
Surprisingly, the Titans had a swift start to the game, and within two raids, Pawan Sehrawat had already weakened the Panthers. Although a crucial Super Tackle delayed an All-Out, Sehrawat continued his impressive play, eventually causing the first All-Out, giving the Titans a lead.
After a brief Panthers rally, the Titans imposed a second All-Out, extending their lead to three points, which they quickly solidified. Sehrawat’s Super Raid further weakened the Panthers, and the Titans went into the break with a 28-20 lead.
The Panthers made a strong comeback early in the second half, inflicting an All-Out to narrow the lead. Arjun Deshwal’s Super Raid tilted the momentum in favor of the defending champions, but the Titans maintained their resilience. With a one-point lead for the Panthers and fewer players on the mat, the game entered its final five minutes in an intense battle.
In the last minute, Abhijeet Malik’s Super Raid, taking out Shankar Gadai, Ankit, and Milad Jabbari, set up another crucial All-Out, sealing the game. Malik’s five-point raid created a substantial nine-point gap. Although the Titans reduced the lead towards the end, the Panthers secured a well-deserved victory.
