The Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 Eliminators are set after Haryana Steelers faced a defeat against Puneri Paltan in Panchkula on Monday. In Eliminator 1, Dabang Delhi K.C. will go head-to-head with Patna Pirates, while Haryana Steelers will take on Gujarat Giants in Eliminator 2 at the GMC Balayogi Sports Complex in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The Playoffs for Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 are scheduled from February 26 to March 1, 2024.
The victor of Eliminator 1 will go against the table-toppers in Semi-Final 1, and the winner of Eliminator 2 will compete against the second-placed team in Semi-Final 2 on February 28, 2024.
Puneri Paltan and Jaipur Pink Panthers have already secured spots in the Semi-Finals. However, their final standings depend on Puneri Paltan’s last league stage match against U.P. Yoddhas on Wednesday.
Addressing the upcoming clash with Gujarat Giants in Eliminator 2, Haryana Steelers’ head coach Manpreet Singh remarked, “While we have beaten Gujarat Giants in both of our league-stage encounters, the outcome depends on the teams’ performance on the day. We aim to replicate our performance and secure a win in the Eliminator match.
Haryana Steelers’ captain Jaideep Dahiya added “Past victories don’t guarantee a win, and we need to play well. The team that performs better will emerge victorious. We’ll learn from our mistakes in the last match before the Eliminator.”
Puneri Paltan head coach BC Ramesh, eyeing the top spot after their triumph against the Steelers, stated, This win was crucial as we had lost to them earlier in the season. Giving new players a chance paid off and it’s a significant victory in the race for the top spot.
