The T20 World Cup 2024 that all the cricket fans are waiting for is finally here. The final match between India and South Africa (IND vs SA) teams will be played today at 8 PM. Fans are a bit worried that rain will interfere with the T20 World Cup final match. Rain interrupted the last two semis. Now all eyes are on the weather conditions in the Bridgetown area where the final match will take place. Weather reports say that rain is likely on the final day as it is the rainy season in the Caribbean. However, there may not be any problem with the result as there is a reserve day. ICC is ready to get the result today if the weather is favourable. Let’s see how the weather is there now..
- The match will start at 8 PM IST. The toss will be thrown at 7.30. It will be 10.30 am in Barbados, the venue for the final.
- According to our time.. it will rain there from 4 pm. The Meteorological Department says that there will be moderate rain for about two hours.
- By 7 pm (India time) the rain will subside completely.. the sky will be cloudy. The weather is likely to improve by the time of the toss.
- There was no chance of rain even in the middle of the match. Lightening showers will occur around 11 pm. That too is only for a while.
- The Meteorological Department has said that there may not be any difficulty in organizing the full-scale match today. The ICC has already made it clear that the Barbados staff will also be ready to prepare the ground.
- If the match is not possible today, there is still a reserve day. Additional time allotted is 190 minutes. The result will be announced if at least 10 overs are played.
