Noor Ali’s final match for Afghanistan took place in the recent one-off Test against Ireland. In ODIs, he accumulated 1216 runs with an average of 24.81, while in T20Is, he scored 597 runs at an average of 27.13.
His cricket journey kickstarted in April 2009 during Afghanistan’s first-ever ODI against Scotland. Noor Ali’s explosive 28-ball 45 played a crucial role in securing victory. His versatility as a cricketer shone through when he entered T20Is shortly after.
