Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill’s struggles with form continued in the 52nd match of IPL 2024. Facing Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 4th, Gill was dismissed cheaply for just 2 runs.
Mohammad Siraj was the tormentor for Gill, dismissing him in the 4th over. The young batsman attempted a leg-side flick but only managed to edge the ball, which was comfortably pouched by Vyshak Vijay Kumar at deep point. Siraj had earlier made a significant breakthrough in the 2nd over, dismissing Wriddhiman Saha. This double strike within the powerplay showcased Siraj’s determination and ability to exploit early opportunities.
