8 South-Koreans Approaches AP High Court to Go Home

8 Employees of LG Chem who are south korean nationals moved High Court saying that the AP police are not allowing them to leave for Korea. In a written petition, the employees mentioned that they are employees of LG company in Korea and they don't work for LG Chem in Vizag. They are a technical team here on a fact finding mission to present a report at their headoffice on the reasons and failures of Gas leak in LG chem Vizag plant which lead to deaths of people.

Advocate General S. Sriram informed that petitioners are free to leave for their home country but he explained the court about the valuable inputs the team has which are crucial for the investigation. Only the Korean Team was requested to submit affidavits stating that they would appear before AP Police whenever and if they are called for investigation in future.

The high court after hearing both arguments advised the to approach High court by way of an affidavit in case the Korean Team members don't appear before the investigation. Whatever would be necessary gets decided then. But the high court reserved the matter for orders.
