Director Puri Jagannadh is making a pan India film collaborating with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. This movie which stars Vijay Deverakonda in the lead is said to be a sports drama. About 40% of the movie is shot until the lockdown is announced in the quickest time at Dharavi slum in Mumbai. When the remaining portion of the movie will be shot is not known yet.

But at the pace of Puri, it takes no time for the director to make the movie ready as soon as possible for a release in theatres once they are opened. Meanwhile, the news is that Karan Johar is very much impressed with the making style of Puri Jagannadh. Hence, he offered another pan Indian film to direct under his banner. This movie will start after the completion of the tentatively titled film’ Fighter’.

In the past, Jagan already did a Bollywood film titled ‘Buddha Hoga Tera Baap’ which starred Amitabh Bachchan. Now after so many years he is directing a Pan Indian movie after bouncing back in Tollywood with successful film ‘iSmart Shankar’. It might not be a difficult task for Puri to make a mark in Bollywood also with his fast-paced screenplay and punchy one-liners.

At present, the Tollywood director is fully utilizing the lockdown period by writing a series of scripts for his films. Generally, Puri Jagannadh also writes dialogues all by himself for his movies. His crazy dialogues made him the ‘mass ka baap’ director in Telugu. Hope he repeats the same in Hindi as well and we wish him that he reaches greater heights by becoming popular nationwide like his mentor RGV.
