The movie shootings have come to a standstill with the global lockdown following the Covid-19 pandemic. The cameras and other equipment are shut inside storerooms while the actors and technicians across the world confined to staying indoors. But, one film could complete the shoot even during this lockdown period. It is ‘Adujeevitham’ which is one of the most awaited movies in Malayalam.

This Prithviraj starrer wrapped up the shooting in Jordan. The crew consisting of 58 members was shooting in the Arab country when the air travel was banned amid coronavirus pandemic. They had no choice but to stay back in the desert country. The officials canceled the permission to shoot the movie.

But, the crew which waited for few days decided to go ahead with the shooting. They stayed in the scattered tents all these days in the Wadi Rum desert and completed the shoot. This is officially confirmed by the leading man of this movie himself on his twitter account on Sunday. Prithviraj also explained that the presence of a doctor in the team helped for regular checkup of their health.

This film is written and directed by Blessy while the Malayalam star played the role of an immigrant worker in Saudi Arabia. AR Rahman is scoring the music for this film being produced under KGA Films. Probably, this might be the only Indian film that could shoot even during the pandemic lockdown. Finally, the crew is all set to return back home after the successful completion of the movie.

As the lockdown period is extended till 31st May, it is not known yet about the travel plans of this movie crew. But, let’s hope that everyone returns safe and enjoy the successful run of their film when it is released in theatres.
