Prabhas Sister makes her Debut in Films with Radhe Shyam!Jul 12, 2020 09:20 AM
Prabhas made his entry as the successor of Rebel Star Kishnam Raju in Tollywood. He became one of the leading stars in Telugu cinema in a very short span of time. His heroic performances in the films like Chatrapathi and Varsham made him the darling of the masses during initial days. Then the Bahubali happened. Rajamouli’s epic film has catapulted him as a pan India star.
Now his sister Praseedha is making her debut in Tollywood. She is the eldest of the three daughters of the Rebel Star. And she is making her entry in films as one of the producers with RadheShyaam. The first look poster of the movie released yesterday has immediately caught the eye of the audience. In fact, the Assam police are using it in spreading awareness on Corona by photoshopping the poster with masks.
It is also learned that Praseedha also has plans to venture out on OTT platforms with the support of Prabhas. The Tollywood is not so popular like Bollywood in introducing the star daughters as heroines. Hence, many of them end up dealing with production. Krishna’s daughter Manjula was stopped by the superstar fans in the 1990s from making her debut in Tollywood with Balakrishna.
But she acted as a heroine in a Tamil film and later she could achieve her dream of acting in Telugu films with so-called parallel movies like ‘Show’. It even won the National Award for Best Screenplay. Finally, she ended up as producer with ‘Pokiri’. Similarly, Supriya from Akkineni family made her entry in TFI as a heroine through PawanKalyan’s debut film ‘AkkadammayiIkkadabbayi’. But finally, she also ended up as a producer.
Recently, Manchu Lakshmi also proved herself as a TV show host, actress, and also as a producer. Lately, Naga Babu’s daughter Niharika’s efforts to establish herself as a heroine failed miserably due to several reasons. Unlike many Tollywood cine families, KrishnamRaju only has Prabhas till now in Tollywood as his successor. And the entry of his daughter Praseedha in films certainly rejoices the fans of the Rebel Star.
