The polling for the Andhra Pradesh elections concluded last night, and now everyone is eagerly awaiting the official update on the final poll turnout from the Election Commission. It’s anticipated that the turnout could be around 80%, similar to the 2019 elections. Alongside the poll turnout, people are also looking forward to the release of the exit poll results.
However, the wait for the exit poll results will continue for some time. The Election Commission has imposed a ban on exit polls until June 1st. These polls can only be made public after the completion of all phases of the election across India, which is expected to be by June 1st. As per the ban, media houses and survey agencies can only release the exit poll results on June 1st, three days before the actual counting begins. So, the exit polls for the Andhra Pradesh elections may become available after 6 PM on June 1st, once the entire polling process in India is completed.
