A survey conducted by RTV survey not too long ago has revealed some interesting changes in political strongholds, which could mean that we are in for a lively time. The TDP is considered the established power with 37 of these areas under its control. It’s not all plain sailing for them though as this year has seen YSRCP become another major player on the scene after picking up wins in 15 districts; enough to suggest they might be able to upset things elsewhere too. Elsewhere JSP managed just two seats while BJP won only one – suggesting both parties are steadily growing but at a more modest rate than their rivals.
What this study shows most clearly is how much politics have changed over recent years when well-known parties find themselves facing challenges from new entrants into the arena; with so many districts ‘up for grabs’ it could be said that never before has there been such potentiality within our system – making for an exciting future full of surprises!
