Authorities maintain peace amidst post-election violence in Andhra Pradesh's Palnadu district.

In response to recent post-election violence, authorities have taken action in various Andhra Pradesh districts. Prohibitory orders under Section 144 have been imposed in Palnadu district, following Election Commission directives. This order prohibits public gatherings and rallies, with strict warnings against gatherings of three or more individuals. Similar measures have been enforced in Tadipatri of Anantapur district, where clashes between supporters occurred. Violence has also been reported in other districts, including an attack on an aide of former minister Bhuma Akhila Priya in Kurnool. With tensions high, police have intensified security measures, including lathi-charges to disperse unruly crowds. These incidents underscore the need for maintaining peace and order after recent elections across the state.
