Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses a rally in Andhra Pradesh, highlighting the influence of sand, land, and liquor mafias in the state.

In a recent rally held in Anakapalle, Andhra Pradesh, PM Modi voiced concerns over the prevailing influence of sand, land, and liquor mafias in the state. He urged the citizens to support the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the upcoming elections to eradicate this exploitation.

Emphasizing the significance of the May 13 vote, PM Modi assured the audience of NDA’s commitment to propel development to unprecedented levels. Alongside him stood prominent leaders including N. Chandrababu Naidu of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Naga Babu, brother of Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan.

PM Modi pointed fingers at the Congress and YSR Congress, attributing rampant corruption and mafia dominance as their legacy. He lamented the deterioration of cultural values due to their appeasement policies and highlighted the desecration of temples in Andhra Pradesh.

Highlighting the strides made by the NDA government in the state, PM Modi cited the expansion of national highways from 4,000 km to nearly 9,000 km since 2014. He also lauded the establishment of several higher education institutions. In contrast, he criticized the YSR Congress for its alleged inertia in development initiatives, branding them as champions of corruption.

The Prime Minister accused the Jagan Mohan Reddy administration of obstructing progress at every turn, citing instances such as the delay in allocating land for the BJP headquarters construction and the failure to utilize sanctioned funds for housing projects for the underprivileged.

PM Modi underscored the plight of farmers in Andhra Pradesh, blaming the state government’s policies for their distress. He pledged the NDA’s commitment to alleviate their hardships and ensure their welfare.

Drawing attention to the Sujala Sravanti irrigation project in north Andhra Pradesh, PM Modi questioned why Jagan Mohan Reddy, despite inheriting his father’s political legacy, failed to complete projects initiated by him.

In conclusion, PM Modi urged the electorate to vote for progress, echoing the NDA’s mantra of development while condemning the alleged culture of corruption perpetuated by the opposition.
