Janasena Party leader Pawan Kalyan attended the Varahi Vijayabheri Sabha in Kaikaluru of Eluru district, where he criticized the enactment of a new law aimed at land acquisition. Pawan alleged that the law was passed without proper discussion in the assembly.
Expressing his discontent, Pawan Kalyan questioned the necessity of a law that requires landowners to prove ownership within a limited timeframe, labeling it as a means for land grabbing. He voiced concerns over the burden this places on property owners, even those with smaller plots, who may now have to seek legal recourse to safeguard their land rights.
Pawan also condemned attempts to stifle media freedom during the YCP regime, citing the introduction of Jivo No.1 to control the media. He highlighted instances of violence against journalists and the filing of numerous cases during that period.
Furthermore, Pawan addressed the issue of the allocation of the glass symbol to independent candidates, suggesting manipulation by the ruling party to favor specific candidates. Despite these challenges, Pawan reiterated his commitment to standing firm against such conspiracies.
