Chandrababu Naidu, the president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has warned voters against the YSRCP, accusing them of stealing land under Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rule. While speaking at a large meeting in Chirala, he promised to revoke what he called Jagan’s land grabbing act and to support backward classes. Naidu criticized Jagan’s governance and compared it with that of British colonialists. He also pledged to bring democracy back by forming an alliance with the NDA (National Democratic Alliance).
In addition, he blamed Jagan government for accumulating huge debts and mismanaging them. Naidu asked people to read through the NDA manifesto which guarantees development along with welfare programs as well as completion of all pending projects including those related to making Chirala a tourist destination among others . The former Chief Minister wondered how three capitals could be implemented by someone like Jagan who has not shown any interest in developing even one capital.
