Oct-27-2022: Samiji’s affiliated with RSS/BJP approached TRS MLA’s for joining into BJP Party. Guvvala Balaraju along with Rohit Reddy, Beeram Harshavardhan Reddy and Rega Kantha Rao from TRS Party were part of this meeting at a farm house near Hyderabad. Telangana Police with prior information from MLA’s arrested 3 people for poaching MLA’s with money.

03-Oct-202 :  After TRS Lost the Hizurabad by election, Balaraju was in news as people are demanding him to resign as Achampet MLA. In a TV debate few days before the Huzurabad By Election, Balaraju has challenged that TRS Will easily win the election if not he will resgin as MLA.

07-Sep-2019 : Today Balaraju got appointed as Whip of Telangana Government in Assembly.

08-March-2016: Balaraju was able to drive TRS to win 20 out of 20 wards in Achampet Municipal Elections over United front formed by Congress, BJP and TDP.

04-Sep-2015: Slapping others has become a habit for Balaraju. He is in news once again on a negative note for slapping then congress MLA Chittem Ram Mohan reddy in Mahabub Nagar Zilla Parishad meeting.

23-Aug-2015: Balaraju was in news for slapping a handicapped persion named srinu in vangoor mandal when srinu was asking for monthly pension in grama jyothi program.

27-Jun-2015: Telangana state ayush doctors welfare society founding president Dr. Panuganti Matthew Johnson made sensational statements on Balaraju stating that balaraju has threatened him to come for an agreement to release Sammaiah from the CBI Case. Sammaiah is a section officer in secretariat and he was caught red handedly by ACB while taking 10 thousand rupees bribe from Johnson in 2012 December currently he is on bail and working in secretariat. Johnson also stated that Balaraj has called him couple of times to come and meet him in hyderabad to discuss on the same.
