Political Career Timeline :

Early Years and Trade Union Leadership (1991-2002): Gudem Mahipal Reddy began his political career in 1991 when he started serving as a Trade Union Leader. During this period, he actively participated in labour movements and represented the interests of workers. In 1995, he accepted the role of a Patancheru MPTC (Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency) member, gaining experience in local governance.

Entry into Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) (2014): The formation of the separate state of Telangana in 2014 presented new opportunities and challenges in the political landscape. Gudem Mahipal Reddy decided to join the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS), a party that played a pivotal role in the formation of Telangana. This move aligned him with the ruling party in the state. 2014 Telangana General Elections: Gudem Mahipal Reddy contested the 2014 Telangana general elections on a TRS ticket. He ran against candidates from various political parties, including the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). In a closely contested election, he emerged victorious with a significant majority, securing a mandate from the people of Patancheru Constituency. 

2018 Telangana General Elections: Gudem Mahipal Reddy continued his political journey by participating in the 2018 Telangana by-elections. Once again representing the TRS party, he faced competition from the Congress party and other contenders. He secured a resounding victory with a substantial majority, reaffirming his popularity among the electorat.
