Telangana Rashtra Samithi is in the news for all the wrong reasons. They are targeted in the last few weeks for plenty of reasons. After the sudden Secretariat demolition, there was a mosque temple issue. However, KCR persona worked and he could mitigate the issue. But Gods of Nature are not happy with him. The heavy downpour since June had made things difficult; also the rises in corona cases are doubling the problems. The devout religious man KCR is unable to pacify the Gods and the ire of the opposition.

The heavy rains led to gushing of water inside the hospital premises. Moreover, it entered all the six wards including the ICU. The building is a 110 years old heritage structure built during the reign of last Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan. However one cannot blame the TRS. There is a law that does not allow the destruction of the old structure. Once a building is a heritage site it cannot be destroyed. Two years ago TRS Government tried to pull down the building to build a new hospital. But the high court order went against them.

The challenges are huge for the staff and the patient inside the hospital. However, the State government had decided to shift the patients on the first floor after the ground floor was flooded with water. RMO Mohammed Rafi said, “The patients were shifted with due care to the wards on the first floor in the morning. Water was cleared and until the problem is redressed, the ground floor wards will be closed.”

The video image spread across social media is quite disturbing; in fact, the disturbing pictures of ankle-deep water had shocked the common people. Many patients and their attendees are complaining of stinking water. This would aggravate the problem of patients already suffering from Covid-19.
