One is Objective the Other is a Blind Follower

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is showing the same traits as his followers. It is called herd mentality. Recently he backed the decision made by the centre to start inter-state transport. He couldn’t critically evaluate the pros and cons and blindly followed the PM Modi decision. He was merely showing deference to the ruling party. The afternoon video conference with the Prime Minister showed the stark difference between the two Chief Ministers. One was a rookie and the other showed sagacity and questioned the decision. A statesman should think and critically evaluate important matters that would impact the lives of millions. Unfortunately, his followers have developed herd immunity to his cult-like status.

KCR was clear that passenger train would increase the covid-19 cases. Many neighboring cities are reeling with coronavirus. The numbers are increases day by day. Travelling would multiply the cases.

The Chief Minister of Telangana was quite outspoken and explicitly showed his disagreement with the centre on this particular policy. On the other hand, YS Jagan Mohan’s silence could be construed as subordination. Indeed a spineless attitude amid a catastrophic pandemic.

KCR was clear in his stance that quarantining the entire train full of the passenger would be impossible. It is impractical to conduct a full-fledged test on every commuter. The medical staff and security would be overburdened.

YS Jagan is clueless of the outcome. The State of Andhra Pradesh is already reeling with the recent styrene gas leakage. Many people are hospitalized, but the Chief Minister seems to have forgotten the pain of a common man. He is perhaps unaware that it would become a nightmare for doctors and medical staff. Unfortunately, the Andhra CM lacks empathy. Besides he does not understand the consequences. Maybe when it comes to lack of compassion and intellect.
