Former President Donald Trump announced throughout his campaign held in the city of Philadelphia he had selected a running mate for the forthcoming presidential election. Yet, he has decided to keep this person one identity hidden for the time being.
Donald Trump said the running mate was going to the president discussion against President Joe Biden, which was originally scheduled for Thursday.
The official announcement of Trump’s vice presidential pick is likely to happen around the time of the Republican National Convention, set for July 15 to July 18 in Milwaukee. Trump is expected to receive the party’s formal nomination during this event. “Maybe a little before, but could be at the convention,” Trump said. “But we’ll have some great people.”
The leading candidates for the office are the state Governor Doug Burgum, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, Ohio Senator JD Vance, and South Carolina Senator Tim Scott. Burgum and Vance are the front-runners, but Rubio is still in contention.
There is also trading that Indian-American businessman as well as previous presidential contender Vivek Ramaswamy may be Trump choice. Donald Trump has praised Ramaswamy as a “smart guy” and stated that “he’s going to be in ourselves in some form” at the the state of Wisconsin rally. Trump went on to say, “If I gave it to Vivek to do, he’d draw it off.”
