YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will not celebrate his one year in power. Think of the tax money saved and the unnecessary pomp. Last November was full of festivities where there was a Government Order signed by Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture Department to praise and glorify the chief minister. The drama crew Sri Sri Sri Satya Sai Baba Natakotsava Samithi of Anantpur received 5 lacks to conduct various programs to laud the Chief Minister. Unfortunately, the Novel Covid-19 virus destroyed the plan for a grandeur celebration. According to Great Andhra website Jagan is refraining from large scale celebration as oppositions might latch on to it and ridicule him. This implies that he is not doing it because of the Coronavirus, in fact, it is out of fear of the outrage from the opposition. It reflects his distorted mindset which is only to gain power.

The Great Andhra website is trying to create an altruistic image of the leader. In reality, he is neither altruistic nor virtuous. The Purpose is to gain cheap publicity. Anyone with commonsense would understand that grand celebration and gathering should be avoided in these desperate times.

What is the reason behind an article to augment his image or portray him as a Mahatma who made huge sacrifices for his State?

There is a limit to reverence and it is certainly obscuring the rational faculty of the news websites that constantly shows him an extraordinary leader.

Jaya ketanam is a part of rich history and heritage, but Jagan Jaya ketanam is a mockery of Democracy.
