A meeting convened by KCR at Telangana Bhavan brought together former ministers, MLAs, public representatives, and party leaders from Mahbubnagar, Ranga Reddy, Khammam, Nalgonda, and Hyderabad districts. During this gathering, KCR extensively discussed the implications of the state government’s decision to transfer Telangana projects on the Krishna River to the KRMB. Despite persistent pressure from the Center, BRS Chief KCR emphasized that Telangana projects had never been surrendered in the past ten years. He recounted instances where Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat threatened unilateral actions, including invoking the president’s rule, but reiterated Telangana’s resolve to safeguard its interests.
