TDP leader Chandrababu made some significant decisions. Venigandla Ramu has been appointed as the TDP in charge of the Gudivada Assembly Constituency in Krishna District. Achchennaidu, the AP TDP state president, announced that Siyyari Donnudora is now the TDP in charge of the Alluri Sitaramaraju district, and Kidari Shravankumar is in charge of the Araku Lok Sabha constituency. These appointments were made on the orders of TDP chief Chandrababu Babu.
Venigandla Ramu thanked Chandrababu, Nara Lokesh, and Achchennaidu for trusting him with the responsibility for the TDP in the Gudivada constituency. He expressed gratitude to Konakalla Narayana Rao and Kollu Ravindra for their encouragement. Ramu pledged to follow the path set by Ravi Venkateswara Rao in leading the party. TDP workers in Gudivada Constituency stated that he would work hard to advance the party in line with the leaders’ sentiments.
The decision regarding the Gudiwada constituency has sparked interest. In the 2014 elections, Ravi Venkateswara Rao lost to Kodali Nani. In 2019, instead of Ravi Venkateswara Rao, Avinash contested but also lost to Nani. Afterward, Avinash left TDP and joined YSRCP. Despite these changes, Ravi Venkateswara Rao remained in TDP and was in charge. The recent shift to Venigandla Ramu has raised discussions, with some speculating it was influenced by Ravi’s involvement in the Telangana elections. Ravi had campaigned for the BRS candidate, Arekapudi Gandhi, in Telangana, which stirred discussions on social media about supporting someone who switched parties.
