Former minister Harish Rao said that the budget presented by the Telangana government has disappointed the farmers and the people. He said the Congress government, which had shown so much hope, had not fulfilled those hopes. He said that the budget is such that the farmers who feed the farmers are beaten up with soil.
There is no budgetary allocation for rythu bandhu, loan waiver and bonus. He said the government had cheated the farmers. He said rs 40,000 crore was required for a loan waiver of Rs 2 lakh, but the government did not give even Rs 4.
Harish Rao said rs 19,000 crore has been allocated for agriculture if rs 82,000 crore is required. He warned that the government would not be the target of the wrath of the farmers. “There is no 24-hour power supply in any part of Telangana.
Harish Rao said that in the first assembly, six guarantees will be enacted and the second house is running but the law for guarantees has not been enacted. “There is no clarity in the budget regarding the promise of implementing the promises made within 100 days. “The Congress government is implementing incomplete promises. Out of the six guarantees of 13 items, only two have been given.
Harish Rao said that he has requested the government to help the auto drivers who are facing problems in the state. They said there were no allocations for them. The Congress, which had criticised the previous BRS government for its debts, said it would bring in a new Rs 19,000 crore. He said the government, which has to reduce its debts, is going to make new borrowings.
