Article 370 Trailer: Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the upcoming film “Article 370” is set to be released on February 23, featuring Yami Gautam and Priyamani in lead roles. The trailer for the movie, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Aditya Suhas Jambhale and starring Yami Gautam, was unveiled on Thursday. The makers shared the trailer along with the announcement, emphasizing the integral role of Kashmir in the Indian nation with the hashtag #Article370Trailer.
In the 2-minute-40-second trailer, Yami Gautam’s character labels Kashmir as a ‘lost case’ and expresses frustration over the challenges posed by the region’s special status in her capacity as an intelligence officer. The trailer unfolds the rising threat of terrorism in the area, with extremists aiming to gain control. Yami’s character joins the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and is entrusted with a mission in Kashmir. Simultaneously, the government is portrayed as resolute in its commitment to abolishing Article 370. Despite political conflicts, the trailer underscores the resilience of both Yami’s character and the government. The dramatic background score by Shashwat Sachdev intensifies the tension throughout the preview.
The film also recently released the song “Dua,” featuring vocals by Jubin Nautiyal and music by Shashwat. The song pays homage to the selfless service of the nation’s heroes. Yami shared her emotions about the song, stating, “I got extremely emotional the first time I heard the song. The lyrics are so powerful that they just pierce through your heart. Also, it is shot in the beautiful locales of Kashmir, which adds to the impact. But yes, it is a beautiful tribute to all those who serve the nation selflessly.”
