Amitabh Bachchan recently showed pictures of his home, Jalsa, in Mumbai. He shared photos of the temple inside Jalsa, which had white statues of gods with flowers on them. There was also a black shivling on a white stand, and golden bells hung from the ceiling.
Amitabh was seen in some pictures pouring milk on the shivling and giving water to a tulsi plant in his garden. He wore a black hoodie and pants, and he didn’t wear shoes during the rituals.
Amitabh also met his fans outside his house on Sunday, a tradition he has followed for over 40 years. He waved to the fans at the gate, and his son Abhishek also appeared in a red tracksuit from the balcony to greet the fans.
Amitabh said he always takes off his shoes before meeting fans as a sign of devotion. He mentioned that the number of fans has decreased over time, but their enthusiasm remains, now captured through mobile cameras.
Looking forward, Amitabh will be in the sci-fi action thriller “Kalki 2898 AD” with Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, releasing on May 9, 2024. He also has a courtroom drama film, “Section 84,” in the works.
