Allari Naresh’s latest movie, Aa Okkati Adakku, hit theaters in early May. While audience reviews have been mixed, the film managed to pull in decent collections over the opening weekend. However, collections did dip slightly on the third day compared to the second.
Despite the lukewarm reception, the movie showed surprising resilience, especially considering its drop in the Nizam region. Bookings in Andhra Pradesh also slowed down a bit. Despite various reviews, Aa Okkati Adakku stood at good position.
Here’s a breakdown of the film’s collections for the first three days:
- Nizam: ₹0.76 Crore
- Total Andhra Pradesh: ₹0.97 Crore (estimated)
- Andhra Pradesh & Telangana: ₹1.73 Crore (estimated gross: ₹3.75 Crore)
- Karnataka, Rest of India & Overseas: ₹0.25 Crore (estimated)
- Total Worldwide Collections: ₹1.98 Crore (estimated gross: ₹4.45 Crore)
The movie had a target of over ₹4.5 Crore at the box office and managed to perform decently despite the mixed reviews. To achieve profitability, it needs to collect another ₹2.62 Crore in the coming weeks.
If the film had received more positive reviews, its box office performance could have been even stronger. With its steady collections so far, Aa Okkati Adakku has the potential to be a comeback movie for Allari Naresh in the long run.
